We are back from Utah and what a wonderful weekend it was!!!! I will be having to do several posts about the wedding and everything that went along with that. On August 8, 2009, Allison's sister Anne Marie and John's sister Jessica gave a shower for family in Utah, work friends and College friends and the shower had a great turn out.... Thanks to all family and friends who made the effort to come - some from several hours away just to be there!

that was just fun to be together--what a neat family you have--just loved being around them--your daughter looked elegant and so pretty on the inside and out--all your daughters are sweethearts--its fun to have friends you can pick up with --right where you left off--we love you and allen and your gracious way--(just for the record I didn't feel neglected or cut off at all it was all perfect--and I was just so happy to be there--and just feel of the happiness of the night and your wonderful pay day--don't think for a minute--I thought anything but
'what a treat to talk to lois' you looked beautiful and gave so many people so much attention and although fun --it can be taxing--so I was glad you could rest Sunday
we'll get together another time
anyhow just wanted to say--I'm so happy for you to have such wonderful in-laws for your cute daughter--and you all pulled off a beautiful celebration for them after a beautiful and spiritual sealing in the temple--doesn't get much better than that--you are amazing--keep in touch--a Friend always --Lynda
