Gold Medal winner - Samantha Clay

My niece Samantha Clay, a Senior in High School, just won a gold medal at the FCCLA area competition in Utah!!  I think this is her 4th year of winning for sure her 3rd and then she moves on to the National level that has been held previous years in places like Chicago etc...  She is an amazing young woman and beautiful inside and out to boot!!  She has a strong testimony and tries to live the gospel to the best of her ability at all times.  She is an excellent example of what a LDS Young Woman should be.

I always wondered what this organization is about so I looked it up to see (click here) and I liked very much what their program emphasis is:

Program EmphasisFCCLA is the only in-school student organization with the family as its central focus. FCCLA is a career and technical student organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system, and it provides opportunities for active student participation at local, state, and national levels.

Anyway!  You go Samantha! We are always so proud of you and hope you go far in the competition this year too!!  Love you!
