Happy 4th of July 2013!!!

I started my 4th of July with a 4 mile walk at 6:00 am and it only got better from there!!  We took Aileen to see "Monsters U" the new Disney/Pixar movie out right now, which she loved!  And is also a tradition to take Aileen to a movie on any Holiday!

Then we drove to Rowlett to pick up my niece Valeree, so that she could come to Ft. Worth and Celebrate with the family at Aunt Beverly's house, where there was swimming, to die for barbecue, and amazing fireworks!! 

Allison and John also had an exciting 4th in Provo, Utah.  All the Rex family ran in the Freedom Run this morning!  John's goal was to run 6 miles in under an hour, and he did it in 59 minutes!!  Allison ran her 5k in 40 minutes, Johns parents and his brother and sister ran also.....with Grandpa Rex claiming Charlotte as his running buddy!!  It really looks like they had a great time together.  And Allison and John look great and in shape!  Its really exciting to see how everyone in OUR family challenge of the "Biggest Loser Charlotte Edition" is slimming down and getting into shape!  This little girl has changed our lives in so many important ways!!

I hope you all had a happy and safe 4th!  I'm grateful for this great Country I live in.  For the men and women who defend our right for freedom!  To a Savior and Heavenly Father who blesses this land and our families!  I wouldn't want to live anywhere else!!
