Visiting a friend.....

A couple of days ago we got a very disturbing phone call saying that one of our friends had had a stroke and was being rushed to the hospital via ambulance!  And Dawn is still very young and shocking to hear this kind of news about.  She says her smile is broken (her left side is still not back to working correctly) but MaryAnn and I were thrilled with how well she was doing when we went to go see her Sunday night!

She is always so happy and positive and even in this situation she was laughing and telling stories and just a joy to go and visit!  One of her other friends that had come to visit gave her a big Sunshine poster that said, "your smile is perfect just the way it is" and I know she loved that, and we loved it too!  Dawn is one of the most compassionate people I know and she has a special bond with Aileen that I love her for and I'm so happy and relieved to know that she is getting better and will be better!!
