Getting Lois a "new" used car!!!

This weekend after praying and deciding what we needed to do for a car for me, we went to get me a "new" used car with the money we earned and set aside for just this purpose!  I was on a real high all day until we came home and found out our Air Conditioner was broken and that it was 100 degrees in our home!!  Really???  I so would have not spent the money on a car yet, if we had known,  but we didn't and now its too late......

Thanks to friends on Facebook, we got the name of a repair place that will service 24/7 and does not charge overtime for weekends....but they can't come till tomorrow.....so we are roughing it until then and boy is it rough!

But back to the happy news!  This is the car that finally broke down to the point of not worth the amount of money it would take to fix it!  But we are so grateful for all the years we got out of it and that we were able to have NO CAR PAYMENT!!  It was a beautiful gift.

 

And here is the new car, that we shopped for and work out getting the best possible deal, and just happened to get it to be within our budge!  Yay!

We celebrated by playing a game of Canasta....and Alan & I won.....until we got home of course and then no one won!! ha-ha! (air conditioner out)

 

Happiness is me.....even with coming home to the disaster that is our A/C unit!!
